So you want to learn a music skill – that’s great!  We are here to help you do just that! We offer private music instruction. If you are interested in lessons in piano, guitar, beginning violin, banjo, mandolin, beginning ukulele, or voice, please contact us!

Shepherd Music School was begun at its present location, Central United Methodist Church, in Rogers, Arkansas, in 2000. Our knowledgeable instructors have experience and degrees.  Learn more about our them on the Instructors page.

We use a semester system, with 18 half-hour lessons given in each of the fall and spring semesters.  Lessons are generally offered from mid-afternoon through early evening on weekdays but can be arranged at other times.  At the end of each semester, we offer student recitals, which are open to family, friends, and the general public.   Summer semesters are 8-10 weeks in length, without a concluding recital.

Please visit the Blog page, where you’ll find a photo gallery of our beautiful facility, in addition to posts from our director and instructors that will make you feel more at home in our school.

Are you on Facebook?  We are too!  Please like our Facebook page, which you can access from the little grey “f” icon at the right margin of the main menu on each page.

Finally, here’s how to actually get here!  To access the Music Suite, please park on the 26th Street (west) side of the building, and enter through the glass doors below the highly visible “Main Entrance”.  Make an immediate left and follow the signs to the school.
