We define partners as those services that have either helped us in spreading the news about our school and/or have a specific focus that we don’t fulfill at Shepherd. Although we enjoy a good relationship with these groups, your mileage may vary. You should use your own due diligence when considering their offerings.

At Central United Methodist Church

Central Child Care Center provides both full-time and part-time childcare for children ages 6 weeks old until they enter kindergarten.

Tiny Tots Preschool is a 3-hour/multiple days a week program designed to help each child learn with more joy, more meaning, more purpose, and more satisfaction so that they might make a smoother transition into kindergarten.

First Steps in Music is a pre-school group music class that focuses on preparation for music learning. It is typically offered on Friday morning and is run as an add-on class to the Central Child Care Center. Classes typically run 10 weeks, and new sessions begin in late September and early February. For more information, contact Kristin Wages.

Let’s Play Music offers classes to prepare children for a life of music. Amanda Peterson, a Shepherd piano parent, is the local option for their curriculum. Sound Beginnings is for ages 0-4, and Let’s Play Music is for ages 4-6. You can enroll here.

Downtown Bentonville organizes many events, including the Saturday Farmers’ Market and First Friday.  We participated in First Friday in August 2018, which had a Back to School theme.  Not only did they give us a good spot just off the square, they even dropped off tables for us to use.
